оним ноябрьским вечером я оказался дома в одиночестве. это было почти 11 часов, и я только начала засыпать, когда я заметил , затхлый запах. сначала я подумал, что это мое представление, но он становилось все противнее. я встал с постели и посмотрел вокруг моей комнаты, тогда я вышел, пытаясь найти, где и откуда шел запах. казалось, что во всем доме. это было странно, , но я устал и   вернулся к кровати, все еще задаваясь вопросом о запахе. я думал, разобраться в утренние часы.

    около 2 часов ночи, я проснулся от громкого звука стонов. один, потом щее раз. я был уверен, что слышал с снизу. остановился на минуту, я быстро побежал вниз , чтобы посмотреть, что это было. там нигого не было, и звук прекратился. 

    медленно я поднялся наверх, и только тогда я заметил, что было холодно в доме. все мое тело трясло от холода, трудно было дышать, и от каждого вздоха шел маленький белый туман в морозном воздухе. затхлый запах в доме было дейстительно ужасен. я слышал свое сердцебиениестучало громко.

    моя рука дрожала, когда наклонился вперед, чтобы открыть дверь моей спальни, я вдруг почуствовал, что я был не один в доме. мои волосы встали дыбом.

      первым моим побуждением было убежать. вместо этого я спокойно повернул ручку и толкнул дверь. я увидел зрелище поразило страх в моем сердце, и оно почти остановилось. на моей кровати стоял в прозрачной форме с капюшоном монах. его спина была повернута ко мне, и он сидел без звука и движения.

    я был вскопан от страха и не мог произнести ни звука. я был смертельно напуган, любое движение или шум   могли повернуть монаха и он посмотрит на меня. то ,что я боялся больше всего это его взгляд.

    и вдруг , ужасная фигура стала исчезать, сначала ноги, потом все остальное. когда его голова наконец исчезла, в доме не было больше холодно. я так обрадовался, ноги чувствовались   подобно желе. мне пришлось присесть на пол, на некоторое время.

    потом,   тоже было ощущение слабости в коленях, я спустился вниз, чтобы выпить , чтобы успокоиться. я включил все лампы в доме и взяв себя в руки, я позвонил другу и пошел на свое место. никогда больше я не буду спать в этой комнате!

i always thought babies were born as blank slates and the parents molded and taught them gender roles, etc.  i had two boys. we didn't allow guns in the house. we didn't talk about them, just basically ignored their existence. the first time the oldest got some lego blocks, he built a gun! we had plenty of toys and dolls etc, and he always went for the cars and traditionally "male" toys. we didn't encourage it, he wasn't in childcare, he was just "like that."my best friend had two girls, the same ages. the wanted to do the girly things when they came over.  we moved away and had two girls. meanwhile my friend had some boys. she later called and apologized for all the things she had said about my parenting. i was amazed at how different and easier girls were.  i have always been a women's libbist, and have a degree in chemistry. but i had to admit i was wrong about the blank slate idea.  my second son did have a period when his sister was born when he was inseparable from his baby doll, that he dragged around by the leg.he refused to put clothes on it, so i had to crochet a little dress directly onto the doll because i didn't like her being naked all the time.  and my older daughter insisted on climbing trees and couldn't stand dolls. she is like me, not a girly girl at all. but the older one now has a degree in linguistics and is choosing to stay at home and raise children while her husband works. they hope to get a big horsefarm someday and work together doing tourist rides in alaska.despite my women's libbist tendencies, i have loved being a mom and my kids are wonderful, so i must have done something right. my brother-in-law stayed home with the kids while my sister worked, and that worked for them.  the bottom line is that boys and girls are overall wired differently, but there is some overlap. there will always be traditionally female and male roles, but also with some overlap. the one thing we can do to really screw up society is to have quotas. the best thing to do is to encourage each person to follow their heart.

1. if you  try    to do   your   homework at the same time each day ,it  will become  a part   of   your   schedule.

2.if you  listen    to your teacher carefully at   scool , it  will give    you some ideas for   your homework.

3.it will help  you to do your homework properly if you  turn off  the television while you are doing your homework/

4.you  will remember  works   more   easily if you    read      them   aloud.
